Job summary

Baptist Memorial Health Care is seeking a Performance Improvement specialist to coordinate and evaluate hospital and medical staff performance improvement activities. The role focuses on applying evidence-based improvement methods to drive quality and safety, with collaboration across departments and the medical staff.

You will educate teams on improvement tools, engage with physicians, PI committees, and external partners to ensure ongoing measurement and achievement of performance goals.

Qualifications

• Three years of clinical experience and/or three years in quality management or accreditation preparation.
• Advanced communication, conflict management, organizational and planning skills.
• Basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates, implements and evaluates hospital and medical staff performance improvement activities.
• Coordinates, implements performance improvement activities using external benchmarking.
• Communicates with physicians, staff and external entities.
• Educates hospital staff and physicians on performance improvement tools and techniques.
• Completes assigned goals.
