Job summary

You will collect, analyze, and evaluate quality measures, design processes to foster clinical excellence, and guide changes in policy to align with best practices. The role involves reporting quality data internally and externally, and providing ongoing education while collaborating with professional health care

Qualifications

• Three years of Clinical, IT or HIM experience preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree required.
• Knowledge of patient medical records required.
• Three years experience in hospital or healthcare environment desired.
• Previous experience in formal performance indicator and quality measures activities preferred.
• Knowledge of statistical applications, preferred.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
• Education and facilitation experience in healthcare required.
• Certification in Quality preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with hospital departments and health care entities to support performance improvement activities.
• Collect, analyze, and evaluate performance improvement and quality measures within the organization.
• Design processes that foster clinical excellence and manage changes in policy and practice to align with best practices.
• Report quality data internally and to external organizations.
• Provide leadership and ongoing education; work with providers and administrative leaders across the organization.
