Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Clinical Quality and Regulatory RN to function as a resource across locations for quality management, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. The role analyzes data related to clinical outcomes and partners on improvement strategies.

The ideal candidate will have an active IL RN license, IHI / CPHQ credentials or progress toward them, and 3–5 years of bedside RN experience in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Illinois (IDFPR) with active license.
• IHI Open School Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety within 1 year.
• CPHQ certification within 1 year or pursuing it.

Responsibilities

• Maintains knowledge of abstraction standards, KPIs, and Quality Plan metrics.
• Collects unit data, analyzes, and prepares reports for decision-making.
• Applies guidelines (core measures, GWTG, STS, NSQIP) to data collection.
• Disseminates reports to committees and departments as needed.
• Leads ISO audits and prepares reports on process reliability and improvements.
• Performs mock surveys and prepares CMS accreditation-related reports.
• Partners with leadership to design quality indicators and select projects.
• Ensures timely collection of Quality Plan and dashboard data.
• Attends meetings to present data and propose corrective actions.
