Job summary

Altais is seeking a Clinical Quality Advisor to direct and manage multi-department quality improvement programs across California. You will analyze performance data, design improvement activities, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to enhance CMS Star Ratings and related measures.

The role emphasizes rapid-cycle performance improvement, governance participation, and training development within a physician-led, value-driven healthcare organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 8 years of prior relevant experience in managed care quality improvement, care management or clinical program management in a clinical/healthcare environment.
• Experience with HEDIS, CAHPS, HOS, CMS Medicare Star Ratings, P4P programs, CMS quality withhold, MCAS and NCQA Quality Improvement standards.
• Specific licensing requirements may apply (e.g., LVN, RN, NP, PA, MSW, CPhT).

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage multi-departmental and cross-functional quality improvement programs and projects.
• Develop and implement targeted improvement activities based on performance data and best practices.
• Monitor performance outcomes and provide meaningful feedback to leadership.
• Apply performance improvement methodologies for rapid-cycle results.
• Develop and maintain annual quality improvement program documents and evaluations.
• Support development and delivery of quality improvement training programs.
• Support intradepartmental quality improvement teams and initiatives.
• Translate data into actionable recommendations and present to stakeholders.
• Lead governance activities, track milestones and integrated delivery plans.
• Contribute to program audits and corrective action processes.
