Job summary

CareFlite is seeking a Clinical Quality Educator to bridge clinical quality initiatives with frontline staff development. This field-based role primarily supports CareFlite operations across Kaufman and Dallas Counties, with travel to service areas as needed.

The ideal candidate has a Texas State Paramedic License, at least 2 years of clinical experience, and 2 years in staff education or quality improvement.

Qualifications

• Current Texas State Paramedic license.
• Minimum of two (2) years of direct clinical experience in an acute care hospital, EMS, medical transport, air medical, or ground transport setting.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in staff education, clinical training, patient safety, or quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver clinical quality education programs and training curricula for clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Conduct educational needs assessments and gap analyses using performance metrics and quality data.
• Collaborate with Quality Improvement, Infection Control, Risk Management, and operational leadership to identify and address educational needs.
• Develop targeted education strategies that support patient safety, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
• Facilitate classroom instruction, virtual learning sessions, simulations, skills labs, and competency validations.
• Develop educational resources including presentations, e-learning modules, job aids, competency checklists, and quick-reference materials.
• Evaluate educational effectiveness using competency assessments, outcome measures, and performance data.
