Job summary

TriHealth, headquartered in Cincinnati, OH, seeks a Clinical Quality Data Abstractor to ensure accuracy and meaningful use of clinical data across regulatory guidelines. You will work with the Clinical Quality Data Team to abstract data from key databases and analyze quality metrics to drive improvements.

Ideal candidates have RN credentials, 3–4 years of clinical nursing experience in related areas, and 2–3 years in data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration or related field (Required)
• 3–4 years clinical nursing experience in the relevant specialty (Required)
• 2–3 years' experience in data analysis and reporting (Preferred)
• Knowledge in the field of specialty area of patient care relevant to the assignment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge in quality improvement processes
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Registered Nurse (RN) required

Responsibilities

• Collects all data utilizing criteria/definitions established by the database assigned.
• Ensures accuracy and reliability through routine validation/IRR processes.
• Communicates data metrics to clinical and quality teams with knowledge of current guidelines.
• Attends registry webinars and meetings to communicate changes to teams.
• Collaborates with clinical and quality teams to measure registry data and identify improvement opportunities.
• Meets all registry and hospital submission dates.
• Participates in all quality meetings with clinical and quality teams.
