Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Houston seeks a Clinical Quality Reviewer responsible for data collection, abstraction, analysis and reporting to registries and databases to support quality and patient safety initiatives.

You will collaborate with the Quality, Patient Safety and Infection Control teams, ensure timely entry of data, and develop educational materials to explain core measures and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Education: BSN preferred, or 4 years of training and experience
• Licenses: Texas RN license; non-RN options include LVN/LPN or RHIA/RHIT
• Experience: 3+ years clinical experience; chart review and data abstraction a plus
• Knowledge: quality, performance improvement or patient safety concepts
• Skills: proficient with MS Office

Responsibilities

• Collects and submits data to registries and databases.
• Identifies opportunities for performance improvement from data trends.
• Collaborates with Quality Patient Safety and Infection Control teams on PI plans.
• Participates in performance improvement activities.
• Maintains skills to analyze data for PI.
• Delivers data-driven communications to clinicians and staff.
