Qualifications

• A two-year degree is required, preferred in the field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Proficient in MS Excel and other Microsoft products; experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong understanding of process improvement and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA standards across audits.
• Complete full audits of patient health records and facilities.
• Ensure documentation meets governing agency guidelines.
• Review medical and clinical records per site tools and policy.
• Extract, interpret, and trend data from EHR and audit tools.
• Communicate data information to stakeholders with varying data literacy.
• Conduct random spot checks on program environments.
• Utilize QA tools and schedule audits; revise tools as needed.
• Track documentation workflow using MS Excel and provide status reports.
• Produce reports with tables, charts, and graphs using statistical methods.
• Identify billing errors; report to supervisor and Compliance team.
• Identify trends and contribute to continuous quality improvement.
• Uphold Continuous Quality Assurance standards and participate in meetings.
• Record and publish minutes of QA Committee meetings.
• Safeguard data integrity within the department.
• Support ongoing education and skills competency.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
