Maximus is seeking a Clinical QA Analyst to support our Colorado Home and Community-Based Services program. This remote role collaborates with nurses, social workers, and quality professionals to ensure accurate, high-quality assessments for service authorization decisions.

As part of a collaborative team of nurses, social workers, and quality professionals located across the country, you'll help ensure Nurse Assessors are delivering accurate, consistent, and high-quality assessments that support service authorization decisions for vulnerable populations. While working independently in a fully remote environment, you'll be backed by a supportive, close-knit team dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence.
In this role, you'll:
Conduct quality reviews of assessments and clinical documentation completed by Nurse Assessors.
Analyze reports and quality metrics to identify trends, ensure compliance, and support operational excellence.
Utilize quality assurance tools to evaluate performance and maintain program standards.
Provide constructive feedback and guidance to clinical staff to promote consistency and quality outcomes.
Gather and report data that helps drive program improvements and supports regulatory and contractual requirements.
Help ensure individuals receive appropriate services and supports through accurate and compliant assessment processes.

Collects data related to assessments and assessment outcomes
Completes quality audits utilizing proprietary QA Tools
Reviews QA data and reports on trends and scores found through the quality audits
Analyzes recommended scores in relation to Clinical Assessor determinations
Develops / completes reports that track and trend activities / outcomes
May provide QA training to staff to incorporate quality measures into their daily practice
Performs other duties as may be assigned
'- Education and licensure requirements are based on program contract requirements and are outlined in job posting
-Two (2) or more years related experience
2 years previous work experience in Quality and Risk Management in a clinical setting conducting peer reviews preferred.
Strong working ability with all forms of technology, ability to navigate multiple systems, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, ability to learn and adapt to new technology quickly; exceptional analytical skills; detail and solution-oriented; ability to work independently as well as with a team; excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in the state of practice is required
Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
'- Current unrestricted LPN, RN, or higher nursing license and authorization to practice in Colorado.
Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate work experience in clinical or healthcare field
Proficiency in Microsoft office Applications
Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills
Demonstrates strong proficiency in written communication, producing concise and impactful documentation
Strong computer skills
