Job summary

Maximus is seeking a Clinical QA Analyst to improve quality across clinical operations in a fully remote role supporting our Colorado Home and Community-Based Services program. You will collaborate with nurses, social workers, and quality professionals nationwide to ensure accurate assessments, compliant documentation, and high-quality service authorizations for vulnerable populations.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years related experience in Quality and Risk Management in a clinical setting.
  • Strong working ability with technology and multiple systems; proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication across diverse audiences.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice or higher nursing license.

Responsibilities

  • Collect data related to assessments and outcomes.
  • Complete quality audits using QA Tools.
  • Review QA data and reports for trends and scores.
  • Analyze recommended scores against Clinical Assessor determinations.
  • Develop reports to track activities and outcomes.
  • May provide QA training to staff on quality measures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Join Maximus as a Clinical QA Analyst supporting our Colorado Home and Community-Based Services program and play a critical role in maintaining high standards of quality across clinical operations.

As part of a collaborative team of nurses, social workers, and quality professionals located across the country, you'll help ensure Nurse Assessors are delivering accurate, consistent, and high-quality assessments that support service authorization decisions for vulnerable populations. While working independently in a fully remote environment, you'll be backed by a supportive, close-knit team dedicated to continuous improvement and excellence.

In this role, you'll:

  • Conduct quality reviews of assessments and clinical documentation completed by Nurse Assessors.
  • Analyze reports and quality metrics to identify trends, ensure compliance, and support operational excellence.
  • Utilize quality assurance tools to evaluate performance and maintain program standards.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance to clinical staff to promote consistency and quality outcomes.
  • Gather and report data that helps drive program improvements and supports regulatory and contractual requirements.
  • Help ensure individuals receive appropriate services and supports through accurate and compliant assessment processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Collects data related to assessments and assessment outcomes
  • Completes quality audits utilizing proprietary QA Tools
  • Reviews QA data and reports on trends and scores found through the quality audits
  • Analyzes recommended scores in relation to Clinical Assessor determinations
  • Develops / completes reports that track and trend activities / outcomes
  • May provide QA training to staff to incorporate quality measures into their daily practice
  • Performs other duties as may be assigned
Minimum Requirements

'- Education and licensure requirements are based on program contract requirements and are outlined in job posting

-Two (2) or more years related experience

  • 2 years previous work experience in Quality and Risk Management in a clinical setting conducting peer reviews preferred.
  • Strong working ability with all forms of technology, ability to navigate multiple systems, intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, ability to learn and adapt to new technology quickly; exceptional analytical skills; detail and solution-oriented; ability to work independently as well as with a team; excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of individuals.
Minimum Requirements
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license valid in the state of practice is required
  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required

'- Current unrestricted LPN, RN, or higher nursing license and authorization to practice in Colorado.

  • Minimum of two (2) years post-graduate work experience in clinical or healthcare field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft office Applications
Preferred Requirements:
  • Demonstrates outstanding interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrates strong proficiency in written communication, producing concise and impactful documentation
  • Strong computer skills
Home Office Requirements:
