Job summary
Continuum Rehab Group is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to join our in-house therapy team serving Skilled Nursing/Long Term Care Facilities in Alamogordo, NM. Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in good standing with state license.
- Open to therapists at all experience levels.
Responsibilities
- Utilizes evidence-based practice to support clinical interventions.
- Provides rehabilitative, skilled and medically necessary treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
- Provides skilled therapy services to patients needing rehabilitation.
- Assesses and documents patient progress and communicates with supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatments.
- Provides counseling to patients and families regarding physical disorders and care options.
- Contributes to discharge summaries per regulatory requirements.
