Job summary

Pacific University in Oregon seeks an Assistant Professor for its APA-accredited PsyD Program beginning Fall 2026. This 11-month, extended-term or tenure-track role focuses on teaching, research, and service within the School of Graduate Psychology.

PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology is required; Oregon licensure or eligibility is preferred. The candidate should show interest in health psychology and integrated care and engage in DEI initiatives.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in clinical or counseling psychology from an APA or APS accredited program.
• Licensed or license-eligible in Oregon.
• Preference for development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion programming.

Responsibilities

• Teach courses, mentor students, and advise on degree progress.
• Conduct original research, write grant proposals, and manage lab activities.
• Serve on departmental and university committees and participate in recruitment events.
