Job summary

ExecutiveMental Health (EMH) is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to provide evidence-based psychological services within skilled nursing facilities in West Los Angeles/Santa Monica. You will work onsite, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to stabilize care, reduce suffering, and improve residents’ quality of life.

You will carry a caseload of geriatric and medically complex patients, performing assessments, diagnoses, and treatments with supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical Psychology required.
• Licensed in California.
• Medicare-eligible; credentialing assistance provided.
• Value evidence-based practice and clinical flexibility.
• Comfortable working with complexity and ambiguity.
• Autonomy with support; no micromanagement.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat individuals in skilled nursing facilities.
• Provide psychological services to geriatric, disabled, and medically complex populations.
• Manage an active caseload with support from a clinical manager and admin team.
• Collaborate closely with facility staff, offering consultation and in-services.
• Complete documentation aligned with medical necessity and Medicare standards.
• Provide care by meeting residents where they reside, in SNFs.
