Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a licensed (or license-eligible) Clinical Psychologist for General Outpatient to join the Behavioral Health Institute's 60+ clinician team. The role focuses on delivering evidence-based care within a large, integrated health system and offers opportunities to shape practice across medical and behavioral health settings.

You will conduct diagnostic evaluations and psychotherapy, with potential involvement in testing, and mentor graduate-level trainees.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
• Ohio licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure).

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and deliver individual and group psychotherapy.
• Optional involvement in psychological and neuropsychological testing.
• Mentor and supervise graduate-level trainees.
• Collaborate within an integrated care model alongside medical and behavioral health professionals.
• Engage in non-clinical activities as needed (e.g. attending meetings, calling patients, scheduling patients, responding to emails, etc.)
