Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio is seeking a licensed or license-eligible Clinical Psychologist for General Outpatient services within the Behavioral Health Institute. Join a 60+ clinician team to provide high-quality, evidence-based care across medical and behavioral health settings.

You will conduct diagnostic evaluations, deliver individual and group psychotherapy, mentor trainees, and collaborate in an integrated care model with physicians and other professionals.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
• Ohio licensure (or eligibility to obtain licensure).

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and deliver individual and group psychotherapy.
• Optional involvement in psychological and neuropsychological testing.
• Mentor and supervise graduate-level trainees.
• Collaborate within an integrated care model alongside medical and behavioral health professionals.
• Engage in non-clinical activities as needed (e.g. meetings, scheduling, emails).
