Job summary

Summa Health in Akron, Ohio seeks a licensed (or license-eligible) Clinical Psychologist to join the Behavioral Health Institute in a collaborative, team-driven environment. You will provide diagnostic evaluations and individual/group psychotherapy within a large health system and have access to cutting-edge facilities.

You will have opportunities to specialize, supervise practicum students and postdoctoral trainees, and participate in ongoing education.

Qualifications

• PhD or PsyD in Clinical or Counseling Psychology.
• Completion of an APA-accredited internship.
• Ohio licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic evaluations and deliver individual and group psychotherapy.
• Optional involvement in psychological and neuropsychological testing.
• Mentor and supervise graduate-level trainees.
• Collaborate within an integrated care model alongside medical and behavioral health professionals.
• Engage in non-clinical activities as needed (e.g. attending meetings, calling patients, scheduling patients, responding to emails).
