Job summary

GuideStar Eldercare is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to deliver neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support elderly patients with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and related neuropsychiatric conditions.

The role emphasizes a geriatric focus, licensure in good standing, and a passion for improving quality of life through compassionate assessment, treatment planning, and coordination of care.

Qualifications

• Active state Psychologist license required.
• Interest in neurobehavioral science for geriatric populations.

Responsibilities

• Provide neurobehavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to deliver holistic, continuous care for elderly patients with dementia, Alzheimer's, and other neuropsychiatric disorders.
• Support quality of life, safety, and dignity for residents through assessment and treatment planning.

Your new role

As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will join in our efforts to provide neuro- behavioral health services to residents in long term care facilities. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, you will partner with specialty clinicians to provide holistic, continuity of care for the elderly afflicted with neurocognitive disorders like dementia, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurologic and/or psychiatric diagnoses.

What you'll need to succeed

An active state Psychologist license, passion for the geriatric population, interest in neurobehavioral science, and readiness to make a difference in a population struggling with Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders.
