Job summary

GuideStar Eldercare in the United States (Texas, Waco) is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team and provide neuro-behavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to support elders with neurocognitive disorders, dementia, and related conditions.

A valid state psychology license is required; you will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nurses to deliver comprehensive, person-centered care.

Qualifications

• Active state psychology license is required.
• Experience with geriatric neurobehavioral conditions is preferred.
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary care team.

Responsibilities

• Provide neuro-behavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff to coordinate care.

Your new role

As a Clinical Psychologist with GuideStar Eldercare, you will join in our efforts to provide neuro- behavioral health services to residents in long-term care facilities. Using a multi-disciplinary approach, you will partner with specialty clinicians to provide holistic, continuity of care for the elderly afflicted with neurocognitive disorders like dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other neurologic and/or psychiatric diagnoses.

What you'll need to succeed

An active state Psychologist license, passion for the geriatric population, interest in neurobehavioral science, and readiness to make a difference in a population struggling with Alzheimer's disease, dementia, and other neurodegenerative disorders.
