Summary

The Clinical Provider Account Manager serves as the main liaison between strategic provider groups and internal teams, focusing on building strong partnerships and ensuring effective delivery of clinical services and products. This role involves understanding provider needs, managing accounts, offering product support, and ensuring high-quality patient care. Acting independently and professionally, the Clinical Provider Account Manager represents Client in all provider interactions, driving collaboration and support to maintain successful partnerships.

Responsibilities:

The Clinical Provider Account Manager is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with assigned providers, acting as their main point of contact to address inquiries, resolve issues, and ensure high-quality service delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Client Relationship Management: Strengthening provider relationships, managing communication, and mitigating risks.
  • Account Management: Overseeing provider satisfaction, implementing new sites and services, renegotiating contracts, and participating in business reviews.
  • Clinical Support: Offering expertise in clinical services, aligning product delivery with best practices, and keeping providers informed about updates and regulations.
  • Data & Reporting: Tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), analyzing provider performance, and recommending improvements.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Working with internal teams—such as Sales, Marketing, and Clinical Leadership—to ensure services align with provider needs, participating in credentialing audits, and attending business meetings and industry events.

Required

Education: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field (required); clinical licensure (PT, DPT, OT, etc.) preferred.

Experience: 3+ years in healthcare account management, clinical operations, or similar roles, with a strong preference for customer-facing experience in healthcare.

Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, excellent communication (oral and written), strong relationship-building, time management, and attention to detail.

Attributes: Self-motivated, emotionally intelligent, and professional in external communication.

Knowledge: Familiarity with clinical products, workflows, healthcare regulations, and industry trends.
