Job summary

Safe Haven Family Shelter seeks a Therapeutic Services Manager to lead clinical assessment, therapeutic programming, and coordination with therapy partners. You will develop referral plans, facilitate groups, and support trauma-informed practices across staff and leadership.

The role emphasizes coordinated access to mental health supports with a strong trauma-informed clinical lens and collaboration with program leadership to ensure high-quality services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related clinical field required.
• Active Tennessee clinical license (LCSW, LMFT, LPC-MHSP) preferred; candidates with supervision plan considered.
• Three or more years of post-master’s clinical experience; experience with homelessness, housing instability, trauma, or adverse experiences preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to provide culturally responsive, trauma-informed services to diverse families.
• Strong training and proficiency in Trauma Informed Care; advanced trauma-focused modalities preferred.
• Experience facilitating therapeutic groups preferred.
• Knowledge of Nashville’s mental/behavioral health landscape preferred.
• Strong consultation, training, and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

• Conduct clinical/mental health screenings/assessments for families referred by staff or self-referral.
• Develop individualized referral plans connecting families to therapy partners.
• Maintain relationships with mental health and therapeutic partners; track referral outcomes.
• Design and facilitate therapeutic group programming at the Community Services Hub.
• Provide clinical consultation to staff and leadership on complex cases.
• Support staff training in trauma-informed care and related practices.
• Coordinate with leadership on staff wellness and reflective practice.
• Maintain records in Salesforce and contribute data for grants.
