Job summary

AWARE is seeking a Lead Clinical Program Director to lead clinical teams, develop and implement programs, and ensure quality services for families and individuals served in the community.

The role requires an advanced degree in a related field, licensure pursuit, and at least one year of direct experience in mental health services, with a strong focus on leadership and collaboration within a supportive work culture.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree: RN, MS, MA, or PhD in Nursing, Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field.
• One (1) year direct work experience required.
• Must pursue and maintain licensure (RN/LCSW or LCPC) as required by state boards.
• Strong administrative understanding of mental health programs.
• Ability to lead and work with diverse professionals.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach, and supervise staff.
• Ensure high-quality services comply with performance standards and regulations.
• Coordinate program components for consistency in service delivery.
• Manage service area budgets and allocate funds for staff and operations.
• Build partnerships with local community agencies and organizations.
• Participate in community events and outreach initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
