St Michael's House in Palm Springs, CA seeks an experienced Clinical Program Manager to lead our outpatient team focused on addiction and co-occurring mental health conditions. You will support clinicians, build trust with clients and families, and promote evidence-based treatment in a welcoming, recovery-focused environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration, training, and ensuring high-quality patient care across the clinical services.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, MFT, social work, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a substance dual diagnosis facility with client contact.
• 1–3 years’ experience in a managed care position.
• California licensure as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LLMSW, or Registered Nurse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage operational workflows within Clinical Services and across the facility.
• Provide training and monitor competencies for clinical skill within Clinical Services.
• Ensure clinically appropriate programming and patient interactions across clinic and departments.
• Meet with patients, stakeholders, and family members to resolve issues and provide direct patient care.
• Identify opportunities for facility improvement and lead change initiatives.
• Supervise and evaluate continuous stay reviews and UM workflows.
• Coordinate appeals process with the Business Office and draft appeal letters.
• Provide documentation training to new or current staff.
• Promote a positive work environment and staff development.
• Adhere to Professional Boundary standards and annual competency requirements.
