Job summary

AbbVie in North Chicago, IL seeks a Strategic Change Enablement (SCE) Manager I to lead process improvement initiatives within the Compliance Learning Change Management organization. You will partner across CLCM to plan, deliver improvements, and align quality systems with GxP regulations and AbbVie's Business Process Framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in science or business; associate acceptable with experience.
• 6+ years pharma/clinical research experience; 2+ years in clinical research preferred.
• Experience in process management, optimization, and simplification.
• Experience in change management preferred.
• Effective leadership in a matrix environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Change management and/or Lean Six Sigma desired.

Responsibilities

• Understand AbbVie’s Quality System, GxP Regulations, and the Business Process Framework.
• Awareness of Clinical Trial Management Systems and related systems.
• Partner across CLCM to support process improvement initiatives.
• Provide change management for projects including stakeholder assessment and communications.
• Manage development of clinical research processes, including quality system documents and process maps.
• Assess metrics and measures for focus areas.
• Maintain initiative and change management application.
• Align with CLCM on process improvements.
