Job summary

TeamHealth seeks a Clinical Practice Manager to lead post-acute operations across a growing program, partnering with providers, facilities, and regional leadership to improve patient outcomes, provider satisfaction, and business performance.

You’ll serve as the primary liaison between post-acute facilities and regional leadership, support onboarding and scheduling, drive performance improvement initiatives, monitor key metrics, and help ensure quality care across your region.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare or related field.
  • 3+ years in a healthcare environment.
  • Experience in healthcare operations or administration preferred.
  • Strong financial, analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary operational and administrative resource for providers.
  • Support onboarding, scheduling, and day-to-day operational needs.
  • Collaborate with facilities and referral partners to support care transitions.
  • Lead quarterly onsite meetings with providers and client facilities.
  • Monitor performance against key metrics and budget goals.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and provider satisfaction.
  • Assist with provider recruitment and workforce planning efforts.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards.
  • Maintain operational records and performance documentation.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with facilities, referral sources, managed care organizations, and community physicians.
  • Support business development, client retention, and growth initiatives for the post-acute care program.

External Job Description And Responsibilities

Lead operational excellence across a growing post-acute care program while partnering with providers, healthcare facilities, and regional leadership to improve patient outcomes, provider satisfaction, and business performance.

What You'll Do

As a Clinical Practice Manager, you'll serve as the primary liaison between post-acute care facilities and regional leadership. Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you'll support providers, oversee daily operations, strengthen client relationships, drive performance improvement initiatives, and help ensure quality care across your assigned region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary operational and administrative resource for providers
  • Support provider onboarding, scheduling, and day-to-day operational needs
  • Collaborate with healthcare facilities and referral partners to support effective care transitions
  • Lead quarterly onsite meetings with providers and client facilities
  • Manage daily operations and monitor performance against key metrics
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, quality, and provider satisfaction
  • Assist with provider recruitment and workforce planning efforts
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Assess staffing, resource, equipment, and supply needs while supporting budget goals
  • Maintain operational records, reports, and performance documentation
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with facilities, referral sources, managed care organizations, and community physicians
  • Support business development, client retention, and growth initiatives for the post-acute care program

You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a healthcare-related environment
  • Experience in healthcare operations, provider relations, practice management, or healthcare administration preferred
  • Strong financial, analytical, organizational, and project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Word
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Knowledge of medical terminology preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 50%
  • Flexibility to attend occasional company and professional events outside normal business hours
