Qualifications

• Registered Nursing license issued by the State of Illinois.
• CPR/BLS certification.
• 3–5 years of experience in a clinical area.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements education opportunities for staff identified through needs assessments and goals.
• Supports staff to seek/maintain specialty certification and monitors progress.
• Reviews unit/division dashboards for quality improvement and develops actions with stakeholders.
• Monitors quality report data and creates action plans for safety and quality.
• Leads inter-professional teams for unit/house-wide clinical process improvement.
• Plans and evaluates unit-based safety learning activities and updates policies.

Education

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

Master's in Science in Nursing or to obtain within 4 years of assuming role
