Job summary

Care New England seeks a Clinical Practice Manager/Clinical Nurse Specialist (CPM/CNS) to model expert clinical nursing, educate staff, and lead practice development. Works with nursing leadership to design and evaluate education programs and drive evidence-based practice across units.

Flexible scheduling to meet orientation and education needs is required. The role oversees both union and non-union staff and collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes, safety, and care

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in healthcare required/strongly preferred for CNS role.
• MSN preferred; BSN with progress toward MSN considered.
• Premium credentials for CNS/clinical specialty requested or required within 1 year.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care assessment and education to nursing staff.
• Develop and evaluate orientation and continuing education programs.
• Collaborate with leadership and interdisciplinary teams to improve care quality.
• Lead practice standards development and evaluation.
