Job summary

The University of Virginia seeks a tenure-ineligible Assistant Professor on the Clinical Faculty track to join the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The successful candidate will provide rehabilitation care at UVA Encompass Health JV Rehabilitation Hospital and in outpatient clinics.

The role includes night and weekend coverage on a rotational basis and offers the opportunity to combine clinical practice with resident education and/or research in an academic medical setting.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
• Commitment to a career in academic medicine and interest in combining clinical practice with resident education and/or research.

Responsibilities

• Provide rehabilitation care in the UVA Encompass Health JV Rehabilitation Hospital and outpatient clinic.
