UVA Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation seeks a tenure-ineligible Assistant Professor focused on outpatient electrodiagnostic services. The candidate must be proficient in EMG and nerve conduction studies and will participate in rotating night/weekend coverage at the UVA Encompass Health JV Rehabilitation Hospital.

MD or DO with ABPMR board certification/eligibility is required. The role combines clinical practice with resident education and potential research in a premier

Qualifications

• MD or DO board-certified or board-eligible by ABPMR.
• Academic medicine career with clinical practice, resident education and/or research interest.
• Commitment to medical education and patient care in rehabilitation.

Responsabilités

• Perform outpatient electrodiagnostic services including EMG and NCS.
• Provide night and weekend coverage at Encompass Health JV Rehabilitation Hospital on a rotating basis.
• Contribute to resident education and possible research activities.
