Job summary

Rowan is seeking a Studio Nurse to deliver safe, confident, and joyful ear-piercing experiences. You will perform piercings with clinical care and educate clients on aftercare, while maintaining a sterile environment and following Rowan's standards.

The role involves collaborating with management, flexible shift coverage, and mentoring new nurses to uphold Rowan's Clinical Piercing Standards.

Responsibilities

• Create magical and memorable customer experiences by combining clinical care with a celebratory atmosphere during each piercing session.
• Ensure customer's safety and comfort and smooth flow of customer care.
• Provide confident, clear, and professional communication with clients throughout their piercing experience.
• Create a comforting atmosphere for customers, easing concerns for a relaxed piercing experience.
• Educate customers on aftercare and Rowan's After Care to support healing.
• Conduct a thorough ear evaluation to find the perfect earring placement and offer styling advice.
• Monitor the customer experience and resolve issues to maintain Rowan's clinical piercing standards.
• Maintain a sterile environment at the nurse station and on the procedure tray, ensuring surfaces and instruments are clean.
• Use knowledge of skin care and infection control to provide professional piercing services.
• Collaborate with the Studio Manager to keep operations smooth and foster a joyful atmosphere.
• Fill shifts as needed and mentor/train new nurses to uphold standards.
• Report issues to management and collaborate to resolve them.
• Ensure nurse stations and supplies are stocked and ready for customer needs.
• Sterilize jewelry and piercing instruments to ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Follow state, federal, and CDC guidelines to ensure a sanitary piercing experience.
• Educate customers on Rowan After Care and benefits of extra hypoallergenic jewelry to promote healing.
