Job summary
Rowan is seeking a Studio Nurse to provide a safe, clean, and celebratory ear-piercing experience. You will perform piercings with clinical expertise, educate on aftercare, and help maintain Rowan’s high standards in a retail studio setting.
Applicants must hold an active RN or LPN license and be eligible for a state body art license; newly licensed nurses are welcome. The role offers flexible shifts and opportunities for mentorship and growth.
Qualifications
- Active RN or LPN/LVN license is required.
- Eligible to obtain or possess a body art license/registration per state/local laws.
- Professional and engaging customer care approach.
- Flexible schedule including holidays and weekends.
- Newly licensed nurses are welcome; pediatrics/ear piercing training is a plus.
- Obvious attention to detail in a clinical retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide safe, clean, and joyful ear-piercing experiences with clinical care.
- Educate customers on aftercare and Rowan's After Care.
- Perform ear evaluations to determine perfect earring placement.
- Maintain sterile environment at nurse station and procedure tray.
- Collaborate with Studio Manager to ensure smooth operations.
- Mentor and train new nurses to uphold clinical piercing standards.
- Monitor customer experience and resolve issues promptly.
