Job summary

Mariner Healthcare is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat residents with temporary or long-term disabilities. Under physician orders, the PT will plan and administer therapy, assess strength and mobility, and maintain patient records in a CA setting.

The role requires a BS/MS in Physical Therapy, CA licensure, and preferred 1 year of clinical experience. The position includes benefits and a sign-on bonus, with on-site work in California.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or higher in Physical Therapy (BS/MS).
• One year of clinical experience preferred.
• Current license to practice Physical Therapy (CA).

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and treats residents and patients with neuromuscular/musculoskeletal issues.
• Under physician orders, administers and interprets tests for strength, ROM, and respiratory/circulatory function.
• Provides direct resident treatment per care plan; maintains patient records.
• Instructs patients and caregivers in use of mobility devices; conducts home assessments for safe discharge.
