Qualifications

Responsibilities

Demonstrate and articulate sound clinical reasoning in evaluation and plan of care.
Develop and update plan of care with patient/family, with measurable long- and short-term goals and a discharge plan.
Follow intervention protocols and modify plan of care as needed.
Discharge patients when goals are met or medical necessity changes.
Provide patient and family education and participate in teaching activities for students.
Participate in data collection for research activities and outreach within the department.
Provide clinical education experiences for students as requested by supervisor.
