Job summary

GMH Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist to evaluate and treat patients using evidence-based rehabilitation techniques.

You will work with an interdisciplinary team, supervise PTAs and students, and contribute to patient outcomes while adhering to department policies.

Candidates must hold licensure in the applicable state and obtain BLS within 30 days; prior PT experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current or temporary PT license in the applicable state or a PT compact license.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• One year of PT experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated PT care including assessment, outcomes, rehab interventions, and evaluation with an interdisciplinary team.
• Apply evidence-based techniques to diagnose, treat, and prevent mobility-limiting conditions.
• Oversee supervision of PTAs, rehab techs, students, and volunteers.
• Support department goals and participate in unit objectives.
• Supervise PT students and therapy assistants per regulatory standards.
• Submit accurate charges for PT services via EMR.
