Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL is seeking a Physical Therapist to evaluate PT needs, set goals with patients, and develop individualized programs to improve mobility and independence across ages from pediatric to geriatric.

You will supervise PTAs and PT/PTA students, document care in the EMR, and participate in ongoing education, with weekend shifts and holiday coverage included.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university.
• Current IL Physical Therapist license.
• CPR certification current.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, treat, and implement a plan of care for all clients.
• Provide supervision of PTA and PT/PTA students.
• Document patient care in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Develop professional development plans and participate in continuing education.
• Maintain privacy and confidentiality, and uphold hospital standards.
