Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
• Phlebotomy Technician [National Certification] preferred.
• Experience in phlebotomy 1-2 years required.

Responsabilités

• Obtains quality blood samples using a variety of phlebotomy methods for all age groups.
• Ensures accurate patient identification, quality specimen labeling, processing, handling, and transportation of specimens.
• May assist in patient recovery from adverse reactions and respond rapidly to medical emergencies in inpatient settings.
• Communicates effectively with patients and care teams to explain procedures and address concerns.
• Troubleshoots and resolves specimen and order issues; provides training to new staff and students.
