The Pharmacy Technician role supports smooth and accurate pharmacy operations under a licensed pharmacist, ensuring compliance with state standards and internal policies, while delivering quality patient care. Responsibilities include processing prescriptions, preparing medications, managing inventory and supplies, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers.
• Basic mathematical calculations.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Basic level skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Aufgaben

• Review/validate basic prescription refill requests and process per policy.
• Assist with preparing and dispensing medications and supplies.
• Maintain equipment through calibration, inspection, cleaning and reporting defects.
• Collect and maintain basic patient information for planning materials, equipment and prescriptions.
• Ensure a positive patient experience by answering basic questions and requests.
• Receive/verify quantities of incoming supplies and materials; stock and store them; review expiration dates; identify shortages; pick and pack materials; track inventory.
