Job summary

WellDyne is seeking a Pharmacy Tech I in Lakeland, FL to support WellManaged and other clinical solutions. You will handle inbound and outbound calls with members and providers, and support other clinical program activities while following all policies related to clinical reviews.

This role requires strong analytical and communication skills, problem solving, and attention to detail. You will participate in training, support prior authorization operations, and act as a client service liaison for

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of pharmacy related experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service-related experience.
• MS Office Suite knowledge and ability to learn new computer systems.

Responsibilities

• Review clinical prior authorization requests to determine medical necessity.
• Communicate approvals and denials to providers and members.
• Request additional information from providers as needed for review.
• Direct denials to a clinical pharmacist for final review.
• Assist in processing appeals.
• Update clinical trackers for interventions and communications.
• Ensure prior authorization approvals are recorded accurately and timely.
• Communicate outcomes in compliance with regulations.
