Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepares medication orders for inpatients.
• Prepares prescriptions for outpatients.
• Picks up orders and delivers medications to nursing units.
• Schedules intravenous admixture solutions per patient record.
• Enters new drug orders and renewal information into the system.
• Uses the computer system to assist in dispensing and inquiries.
• Maintains inventory levels in dispensing areas.
• Packages and prepares extemporaneous doses under pharmacist supervision.
