Job summary

Abrazo West Campus Hospital in Goodyear, AZ, seeks a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to develop, implement, and evaluate clinical pharmacy services while collaborating with the patient care team and mentoring staff and students.

You will participate in critical care rounds, optimize therapy, support Drug and Therapeutics activities, provide drug information, and lead education for medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree with pharmacy license in Arizona or eligibility.
• Experience in clinical pharmacy services and critical care.
• Strong ability to educate and mentor staff and students.

Responsibilities

• Participates in critical care rounds and optimizes drug therapy.
• Develops best practices, order sets, and quality projects.
• Educates medical, nursing and pharmacy staff on initiatives.
• Supports Pharmacy and Therapeutics committee activities.
