Job summary

Abrazo West Campus is seeking a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist to lead clinical pharmacy services, collaborate with the care team, and support patient outcomes. The role involves education of staff and participation in medication management initiatives within a busy acute-care setting.

Under the direction of the Director of Pharmacy, you will optimize therapy, participate in critical decisions, and mentor students while contributing to cost-effective pharmaceutical care.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist licensed in the State of Arizona (AZ).
• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred.

Responsibilities

• Participates in critical care rounds and optimizes drug therapy.
• Develops and implements pharmacology services and education for staff.
• Precepts pharmacy students and supports Pharmacy & Therapeutics activities.
• Conducts medication use evaluations and quality improvement projects.
