Orlando Health, Inc. is seeking an experienced clinical staff pharmacist to lead the development and maintenance of hospital-based clinical pharmacy services.

You will plan and monitor services, coordinate activities for adequate patient coverage, and document clinical activities for accreditation and management review. The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, staff coaching, policy development, and active participation on multidisciplinary committees.

Formación

• Must be licensed as a pharmacist by the Florida Board of Pharmacy or obtain license within 4 months of hire.
• Two (2) years of hospital clinical practice with ASHP-accredited residency, or two (2) years completion of ASHP residency/fellowship, or five (5) years hospital experience.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and maintain clinical pharmacy services at the designated practice site.
• Plan, organize, execute, and monitor clinical services to improve patient care while using resources efficiently.
• Coordinate pharmacy department activities to ensure adequate service coverage for the patient population.
• Document clinical activities for management and hospital accreditation.
• Maintain a clinical practice with pharmacotherapy plans and physician consultations.
• Support continuous professional development and education.
• Assist the Pharmacy Director with coaching plans for staff.
• Participate in employee selection processes.
• Develop policies and procedures for clinical pharmacy services.
• Serve on multidisciplinary committees (e.g., Pharmacotherapy Committee).
• Handle HR functions including hiring, assignments, coaching, and performance counseling.
• Maintain regular, punctual attendance per Orlando Health policies.
• Ensure compliance with all Orlando Health policies.
