Qualifications

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD from an accredited educational institution.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Certified Immunizer or willing to become an immunizer within 90 days of hire.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities that demonstrate a strong working knowledge of applicable state and federal controlled substance laws.
• Leadership behaviours with a clean disciplinary record for internal candidates.

Responsibilities

• Engage patients with a positive experience, answer questions and resolve issues.
• Counsel on medication usage, interactions, side effects, and privacy; refer to providers as needed.
• Perform compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and efficient workflow; manage scheduling and shift changes.
• Maintain pharmacy IT systems, inventory, billing, and documentation; support staff.
• Lead with store management on opportunities and maintain performance management.
