Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year pharmacy experience including dispensing, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and insurance billing.
• Experience performing prescription dispensing activities with knowledge of state and federal controlled substance laws.

Responsibilities

• Counsels patients on medication usage, side effects, interactions, and OTC products; refer to medical providers as needed.
• Performs dispensing, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies; manages staff scheduling and shift changes.
• Collaborates with Store Manager to define new strategic opportunities and improve patient experience.
• Maintains pharmacy IT systems and inventory management; supports staff and patients with technology.
