Job summary

MedWiz Solutions, LLC in Cherry Hill, NJ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for the Clinical Intervention Center. You will coordinate follow-up, gather and document information, and communicate with prescribers and facility staff to support timely medication services.

You will work with pharmacists and internal teams to resolve routine issues within technician scope, ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance with HIPAA and regulations; weekend coverage may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Active pharmacy technician registration/license as required by the work location.
• Experience in pharmacy-related or healthcare settings is preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and timely turnaround.
• Familiarity with pharmacy systems, technology, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage clinical intervention queues and follow-up activities per priorities and service expectations.
• Gather information and documentation to support pharmacist review and interventions.
• Communicate professionally with prescribers, nursing staff, facility personnel, and partners.
• Coordinate follow-up on incomplete, missing, changed, or unresolved prescription requests.
• Review and assist with resolving routine prescription, adjudication, insurance, or processing issues.
• Document communications, actions, and outcomes in pharmacy systems.
• Coordinate information with pharmacists and internal departments to support processing and dispensing.
• Collaborate with Data Entry, Billing, Customer Service, and Logistics to resolve workflow issues.
• Identify issues requiring pharmacist judgment or escalation and route appropriately.
• Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and regulations.
