Job summary

Scorpion Therapeutics in Princeton, NJ is seeking a Research Investigator to support Clinical Pharmacology activities and contribute to PK/PD analyses to inform drug development decisions. The role emphasizes model-based approaches and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will develop proficiency in PK/PD, MIDD, and data interpretation, participate in health authority interactions, and contribute to modeling and simulation plans within a site-focused program.

Qualifications

• MS, PhD, or PharmD in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of current practices and issues in Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacometrics.
• Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to deliver scientific presentations.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
• Programming experience highly desired (NONMEM, R, WinNonlin; SAS, Splus, etc.)
• Basic quantitative data analysis, POP PK/PD, and data visualization highly desired.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to compound development and design of clinical studies across therapeutic areas (with supervision)
• Contribute to clinical development strategies of pipeline products (with supervision)
• Develop proficiency in PK, PK/PD, and Model Informed Drug Development (MIDD) principles and analyses
• Contribute to acquisition and interpretation of PK/PD data
• Participate in interactions with health authorities
• Contribute to modeling and simulation plans
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on drug development, regulatory submissions, and departmental initiatives
