Job summary

Career Opportunities is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist Supervisor (RPh Supv) to lead and mentor the PBM-focused pharmacist teams. You will drive clinical accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency across prior authorization and appeals workflows.

You will also oversee scheduling, PTO coordination, and capacity planning to ensure consistent queue coverage while maintaining high-quality clinical decisions and strong team performance.

Qualifications

• PharmD degree from an accredited institution.
• Active, unrestricted pharmacist license in the state of residence.
• Minimum 3 years of PBM operations or clinical prior authorization/appeals experience.
• Minimum 1 year in formal leadership, mentorship, or training capacity.
• Masterful communication and analytical skills; ability to discuss complex clinical topics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary clinical escalation point for pharmacist teams on complex cases.
• Provide daily coaching and clinical mentorship to develop skills.
• Manage clinical scheduling, PTO, and capacity to meet SLAs.
• Partner with operations to identify performance gaps and coach improvements.
• Support recruitment and interview processes for expanding teams.
• Oversee high-level clinical appeals and quality audits.
