Job summary

ProCare Rx is seeking a seasoned executive to lead Clinical Pharmacy as Vice President, guiding PBM program design, utilization management, and cost containment strategies. You will collaborate with clients, internal teams, and the P&T Committee to ensure evidence-based, cost-effective medication use in line with FDA guidelines and URAC PBM Standards.

Qualifications

• Pharmacists must hold a degree in pharmacy and be licensed.
• PharmD preferred; MBA or similar advanced degree is a plus.
• Extensive experience in PBM, managed care, retail, or hospital settings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PBM clinical areas and coordinate with rebate and clinical programs.
• Provide oversight of therapeutic trend analysis, utilization patterns and outcomes.
• Ensure programs align with evidence-based medicine, FDA guidelines, URAC PBM Standards.
• Partner with clients to set clinical goals and present performance reviews.
• Lead clinical discussions, client strategy sessions and RFP activities.
• Collaborate with client services, sales and implementation teams for program delivery.
• Support and mentor clinical staff and drive knowledge sharing.
• Integrate clinical strategies across departments to meet objectives.
• Monitor regulatory changes and PBM trends to inform program design.
• Contribute to new or enhanced clinical programs and services.
• Support specialty pharmacy and utilization management initiatives.
• Lead industry thought leadership and clinical publications.
