Qualifications

• Licensed in Georgia or eligible for reciprocity.
• Immunization and non-vaccine injectable certification required based on practice area.
• Credentialing and privileging required based on area of practice.
• No experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmaceutical care, including retrieving and evaluating biomedical literature and designing medication therapy regimens.
• Counsel patients and caregivers on therapy, adverse effects, adherence, and administration.
• Design, monitor, and evaluate patient-specific pharmacotherapeutic regimens and implement changes.
• Review medication orders and prescriptions accurately and respond to medical emergencies as needed.
• Support medication safety, quality improvement, and formulary management initiatives.
• Precept students and mentor residents and staff; ensure safe workflows and regulatory compliance.
