Responsibilities

• Oversees pharmaceutical care, including retrieving and evaluating biomedical literature and designing medication therapy regimens.
• Counsels patients and caregivers on medications, adverse effects, compliance, and proper use.
• Reviews and interprets medication orders and prescriptions for accuracy.
• Participates in medical emergencies and supports medication safety and quality improvement.
• Precepts pharmacy students and residents; mentors teammates as assigned.
• Ensures proper storage and handling of medications and compliance with regulations.
