Job summary

Encompass Health Rehabilitation Hospital of Fort Myers is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist to ensure safe medication use and positively impact patient well-being within an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

You will contribute to policy development, participate in interdisciplinary teams, interpret and dispense medications in accordance with state board licensure and professional standards, and help advance clinical services in a compassionate, growth-focused environment.

Qualifications

• State pharmacy board licensure in good standing in the relevant state.
• Degree from an accredited pharmacy program or equivalent.
• 1 year of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing daily pharmacy operations to meet customer and patient expectations.
• Contributing to the development of pharmacy-specific policies and procedures in compliance with Joint Commission and other regulatory agency regulations.
• Active participation in the interdisciplinary team, leveraging critical information for positive patient outcomes.
• Accurate interpretation, compounding, and dispensing of medication in adherence to legal and professional pharmacy standards.
